About Castellum Digital Indonesia
Castellum Digital Indonesia (CDI) is a locally rooted technology firm with deep expertise in health information systems, data interoperability, and digital transformation—particularly in strengthening government systems at the national and subnational levels.
Established in 2021, CDI has grown and thrived amid the dynamic and evolving landscape of health digitalization in Indonesia. Over the years, we have navigated policy changes, shifting priorities, and technological transitions—while continuing to deliver solutions that are relevant, resilient, and impactful.
We've had the privilege of supporting various development partners and national stakeholders across Indonesia in designing and implementing scalable, context-specific digital solutions. Our team works across the digital health ecosystem—from strategic system design and implementation to training, technical assistance, and ongoing evaluation.
What makes us different is that we do not sell a single product or pre-packaged solution. Instead, we work collaboratively with clients, stakeholders, and users to design, adopt, and adapt sustainable and scalable information systems and digital tools that truly improve services.

Our Journey
2018
Initial collaboration with health information systems practitioners
The journey of Castellum Digital Indonesia began in 2018, when a community of health information system practitioners started collaborating closely with central and local governments. Our motivation was simple: to create digital solutions that were not only advanced but also grounded and relevant to the needs of Indonesia's health systems.
2020
Contrubutions to SILACAK,ASDK, and SISMAL V3
When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, the demand for rapid, reliable, and resilient systems became more urgent. During this time, we were actively involved in building and implementing SILACAK, a national contact tracing system for COVID-19. Our work continued with the development of ASDK, the Satu Data Kesehatan portal that integrates various national health programs, and SISMAL V3, the malaria reporting and information system adopted both locally and nationally.

In 2021, we officially established PT Castellum Digital Indonesia as a testament to our long-term commitment to supporting digital transformation in the health sector. Since then, we have continued to grow as a strategic partner across national and subnational initiatives—ranging from health data policy formulation and system integration to data use capacity building.
